It's time again for the mixed emotions that is Thanksgiving.

I'm lucky, I've got a pretty small family and they all pretty much live in town with me so I can spend time with them for the holiday. Unfortunately several years ago my mom passed away after a really tough fight with lung cancer. This year, her birthday falls on thanksgiving.

It's going to be a pretty somber event for the family this year, but I wouldn't trade the time with them for anything.
