I know it's been awhile, so here's the update:
So, I've been living in the house for half a week now, and a lot of it is really great. It's so beautiful, and I'm figuring out my neighbourhood, and trying to budget, and I'm getting to know the people I live with, which is really lovely, because they're nice. I still have a slight (completely self-imposed) discomfort, because they've all known each other for at least a year, and they all go to U of T and share friends and old stories and stuff, but they are totally inviting. The only really difficult part is that my room is right off the kitchen, and I've had some really early shifts at work, so I need to go to bed at a fairly reasonable hour if I don't wanna be dead on my feet the next day. but they dont start classes even until next week, so they're up until god-knows-when. and i wish i could hang out and go drinking with them (which i'm sure i will eventually be able to do) but i cant, and sometimes, because the kitchen is RIGHT THERE, i can hear them, and sometimes it keeps me up.
But tonight was fun. I'm gonna hafta bow out of going to cheap martini night at this bar, but fo dinner we made four really yummy pizzas, with combinations of gourmet cheese, artichoke hearts, green olives, pepporoni, yellow peppers, fresh basil, sundried tomatos, grilled chicken, and sliced tomato. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!! and I helped to make them, and contributed a tomato, and we all sat down and ate them, and they were delicious. It was a lot of fun. And I bought some kitchen tools from Honest Ed's, which is the MOST addictive place, and that includes a muffin tray, and so, i would like to make muffins for us all to eat, as sort of an ice breaker, although its probably pretty safe to say that the ice is well and broken by now.
nice gesture, anyways.
I officially start class tomorrow (Bookbinding!!) and i'm excited about it. and next week i'm working 27.5 hours along with school (holy fuck) THREE opening shifts! ouch! ah well. hopefully i'll survive. anyways, that is all.
cheers.

I'm jealous of your bookbinding class.
