The mood of this blog is going to be a bit bi-polar, I predict it. I had one of those mental shock moments, (you know the sort) where as the future gets clearer and brighter you look over your shoulder and take a sock in the jaw from the guy you didn't notice was behind you. I realize how gone the past is, I will never have my much loved life in Portland back, or any sembance of it, that part of my life is over, and however happy I am, however bright the future is, one can't help being a bit sad.
"You know I dreamed about you....
for 29 years...
before I saw you..."
It's also strange that I won't live in America again for at least 3 years, I miss it, probably always will. It's only natural I suppose....
We're going skiing in the alps this weekend, I've never skied in my life and I have no snow pants, damp cold fun!

This may happen in a week, but then I may wait for Dinah to arrive!

"Il tait grilheure ; les slictueux toves,
gyraient sur l'alloinde et vriblaient ;
Tout flivoreux vaguaient les borogoves ;
Les verchons fourgus bourniflaient."
I love these verses !
