I can't believe that September is almost over.
I've had a good week. Monday, eh, not so much, because I had a cold. However, Tuesday I did two loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, and mixed two huge batches of cat food.
The Boy and I have two kittens that we aopted from the Animal Rescue League. Willow is a beautifully marked tuxedo and Anya our Halloween kitty - she was born on Halloween and she's *completely* black. I think The Boy and I tend to spoil our kittens, but they provide us with approximately 833% of our RDA of cute. I'm flat broke, but they just got a $60 water dish, and it's worth every penny. Actually, I'm not joking or anything, this is their second recirculating water dish. They like the splashing of the water, so they are more apt to drink it, which helps them avoid kitty sicknesses.
But I digress, back to my week.
Yesterday I was exhausted, so the couch got a lot of my ass. When The Boy came home, we watched TV, ate dinner, and decided to go to the Beehive. While we were on Fifth, we noticed Ginger and her boyfirend Scott in the car next to us. We got their attention and agreed to meet up in the South Side, which we did, and ended up having a nice cup of Chai (I know, I'm so five years ago) and biscotti with good company. This was the perfect thing to do before going home and watching LOST, which is pretty much the best live-action show I've seen come on TV since The X-Files.
After LOST, we went on our nightly walk, came home, and went to bed, because I'm still really tired.
