For years as is dictated in the resent your parents guide, I have rarely ever took my parents advise on things. Well, I thought back Sunday night to a pearl of my father's wisdom.
I gargled warm salt water for my very sore throat. Crap. I have to admit he was right. I didn't get sick.
Work has been beating the crap out of me this week as a publication is trying to submit things at the last minute. I really really really dislike the staff on that mag and them making an emergency on part because they are skeezing slackers really(have I mentioned really?) pisses me off. The lemon juice in the cut was when I was still working on their images until six tonight while the fuckin' graphic designer who "had to have" them went home at five.
So big news in my world! I shot my first shotgun yesterday! I joined the trap league (like skeet,but different) at work and yesterday was our first round. Missy miss here, shot 8 "birds" out of 20. Not bad for some one who couldn't hit the water if I fell out of a boat. Yeah, I know, can't aim well and let's arm her with a shotgun...
