I got the results back today from the Ladies Pistol League in my department. I won in my class, and I scored high enough to move up a level!!! Yeah go me!!!
There's nothing like conquering a fear of something and then to excel is another.
I also had another stroke of goodness this week. I was running a little late to work, so I was speeding. Not too much, but enough for our counties finest to tag me. Here's the good part, they flashed the lights. I pulled over, they asked if I knew why I was pulled over, I said very demurely I didn't know. They were kind enough to inform me that I was speeding. "oh crap!", I said ever so passionately. They then said"Today is your lucky day, we just got a call in for an accident and can't write you a ticket, so slow down and don't let us catch you again".
