So, I've been home from Florida for 10 days now. I can't believe November is almost over.
I've been spending time just trying to catch up on things while going to work, gyming it for school (and mostly my health and fitness), taking care of dogs and relaxing. I've been doing more of the rest rather than catching up. I still have yet to vacuum my apartment and put things away. I'm slowly (very slowly) getting there.
I've brought my sister's dog Marley back down here to Pueblo and was able to talk to my leasing agent about him. Pitbulls aren't allowed in the complex but he's helping me keep him until I move out of here. The plan is Florida, even though I keep not wanting to say it outloud. After my trip to Florida, I just feels like the next place for me. I miss family down there and I really think that my career in the healthcare field will take off down there. I think there's more opportunity there than here in Colorado. I could probably use whatever connections I have to move back up to Denver, but I want something new. Granted Florida really isn't new, but it is because I've never lived there as who I am now. Last time I lived there, I was a closed-minded (not on purpose) child who REALLY didn't know what she wanted.
And I keep allowing myself to get unfocused here in Pueblo. It's time to change that.
My goals/plans for the month of December (mostly for my own benefit as I just decided to make this list):
1. Find a second and/or new job.
2. Keep working out daily.
3. Refine my diet.
4. Detox.
5. Unpack the rest of my boxes.
6. Get rid of shit I don't need.
7. Catch up on bills.
8. Send out Christmas cards. On time.
That's a good enough list for now. Anyway, got home from the gym about an hour ago. It's time I shower and start getting ready for work.
Besos!
Aimee
P.S. I post more regularly on Twitter and Instagram if you want to keep up with me that way. xo
