It's funny how life throws you things one right after the other without warning.
So, two days ago, my cat had surgery to sew up a gash in his side, extract his broken canine and xray to see if there was any internal bleeding or damage from when he got hit by a car at around (I think) 3 AM that same morning. Now, because of that unexpected thing, I may not be getting my braces put on next week. Kinda bums me out but I'll wait until the day before to see if I'll be able to come up with the funds otherwise, might have to postpone until early December.
Anyway, that's all that's going on in my world at the moment. I'm heading up to Carbondale, CO (about 2 hours west of Denver) for a home Introduction to the Landmark Forum. I'm excited but also a little bummed that I'm going to be out of the house. I need to cam and try to make some money.
If you feel like being generous, you are more than welcome to contribute in some way. The vet bill killed my savings but at least I was able to take care of my baby. God, I love that cat. No words can express how happy I am he's alive and nothing worse happened to him. No internal damage, bleeding or broken bones.
You should have seen me the morning I took him to the vet... I was a freaking BASKETCASE! I lost it no less than 3 times, two at two different vet clinics (I was trying to find a low-income one and finally succeeded), then in my car when I had left my cat at the vet for his surgery.
Anyway, here's some pictures of my baby. His stitches are looking a lot better than the night he came home from the vet and a helluvalot better than when he came home after being missing for 5 days.
