I got Sac'd!
Yup, It seems that I am too honest and I care about the animals too much to work for a state laboratory.I'm not sure how detailed I can get into this but, basicly what happened is I discovered a piece of housing equipment that was malfunctioning. Some animals had died due to this malfunction and I decided that I should report it to my supervisors and the researcher who owned the now dead animals. Well, I guess I shouldn't have told the researcher. Now I no longer work there and animals in that room will continue to die unnessasarily.
But, I'm handling it well and am back on the horse looking for a new job.

Second, that sounds like a pretty crappy situation and speaks loudly about the kind of people running those experiments to have you 'let go' (as the parlance is, no doubt) because you weren't blind and deaf and mute. In a way, it's probably just as well -- those kind of people would probably end up making you want to quit in another way, given enough time. Best that you're out earlier.
