I feel like i have been busy lately, but when i actually think about the stuff that i have been doing, i am actually not that busy at all, so it must just me my mind that feels busy. Today i went house hunting with my two besties. Not for me, but for them and another one of our friends. It just happens that they are all in the need of new living quarters, so they are all going in together on a three bedroom. It makes me wish that i had the money to rent independently, i would love living with those bitches. I had the feeling that it would be a lucky day ,and sure enough ,we found some good prospects. The favorite is a three bedroom duplex that was obviously built in the 60's. It is so rad, retro chic. It has an awesome avocado greed old school refrigerator, blue carpet, and in the basement laundry area there is light green linoleum. It sounds quite ghetto, but trust me, its fabulous and well taken care of. I hope that they get it. There is even a fenced in back yard for the doggies.
Other than that i have not been up to much. Back to work, picked up my book again for the first time in weeks. I still need to post pics of my vegas trip, and come to think of it i forgot to take pics of the stuff that i really wanted to take pics of. They are just typical touristy vegas pics, but they are mine.
I have been enjoying the wildlife all around me. there is a finch nest right outside my frond door with 5 little hatch-lings inside. The mom and dad will take turns feeding the birds quite a few times a day. it is quite the site to see. One of the babies climbs out of the nest and on top of where the nest is and sits until his mum comes to feed him. I think its quite precious, and something you dont get to see every day. there is a huge rat living somewhere in my yard that walks back and forth from the big walnut tree getting his fix for the day. And the other day i was at the coffee shop and in the eves of the house next to it saw a raccoon peaking its head out ,then eventually climbed down the roof. Quite the amazing sight. I love wildlife in the city. I love the rain we have been having, I love the smell of pine that drifts down from the mountains, and the smell of wet dirt.. (contended sigh)*** Life is good. Now if only i can get around to the things that are long overdue....
