The past couple days have been better. I have been working a lot so that i can distract myself from the emotional stress that is happening in my life right now. Last Friday i went to dinner with some of my old friends from high school and afterwords we did some crafting. We made our own fabric colored buttons and then decorated them with various things, made them into earrings, hair pins, etc. I love being creative. I think the human soul naturally has a desire to create.. whatever it may be, we are all always creating something, and that is BEAUTIFUL!
Mothers day was fab. I crochet a cascade scarf for my mom and i am in the process of crocheting a grannie square blanket for myself. I love to crochet! It is the most time consuming, addicting thing in the world! It has been a good thing for me to start getting over some of my vices. I think i will continue to crochet for the rest of my life.
I am taking a break from reading the glorious Outlander book: A Breath Of Snow and Ashes and am now reading Persuasion. I really like Jane Austen. Persuasion is not that hard to follow either, and quite the interesting story. I think i am going to read Emma next. Sorry this blog is all over the place. Life is getting better. Today was a good day. I hope tomorrow will be even a better day.
I have noticed something lately: I always used to think that we had no control if we were going to have a good day or a bad day because we cannot control the things that are happening around us. But I now realize through experience that if i literally tell myself that today is going to be a good day and that i am going to have a positive attitude, then i do! It really sounds like common sense writing it down, but it truly does work. If i can look at myself in the mirror and tell myself to be positive and smile, then i am at peace with myself during the day, and i usually am happy. Try it!

Those things you made are so cute, I love them.
I've always wanted to learn how to crochet. It seems fun and relaxing.
Plus you can make neat things!

That is so true, you make such nice points about people and life!
