Think I'm gonna freewrite this week on the homework cause I love reading all these random facts about all of you! So well here's a bit on me!
1) I have a weird fear of airplanes.
I say weird fear because I'm planning a world trip which is gonna require me to fly. Also I'd have no problem with it if I got my pilot's license and I was flying the plane. Yet, me as a passenger is a travesty, thank god for whiskey at that point! Three shots of Jack and I'm calm, I can do this!
2) I listen to all music.
My musical taste is everywhere. Somedays I'm country, some days classic rock, some days rap, some days soundtrack, and so on so forth. My only criteria is I feel heart and enjoy the story being told in the song. So new country and new rap usually doesnt come into my playlist. Sorry, it was a different day with Garth Brooks and Tupac on the forefront.
3) I know three languages.
Learning of my German heritage, I started studying young how to speak and write it, it's rusty because I don't get to converse with many people here in German. I run into a few Germans here and there...comes back real fast! I adored Japanese culture so I began to learn how to speak it. I'm probably intermediate at it, don't speak it as much, with Spanish and Japanese, it's more I get embarassed cause my German accent seems to come out when I speak the two so it slaughters what I'm saying!
In the process of learning French, so thats my problem again!
4) Vomit makes me queasy.
This is an odd one to me cause I was a Criminal Justice student and had seen bodies, doesn't do anything to me. Yet, I see someone puke, I'm done for. It's terrible.
5) I fell in love with tattoos very young
Something about it, spoke to me very young, I went with my cousin to get her first tat. Just watching her artist at work, made me want it too, they explained I was too young. I said, "Fine, when I'm of age, I'm getting a Batman on my arm!" Little shit I was at 7. Yeah I did follow through though, still planning to get more, it's been awhile but next one is my traditional piece ;)
6) I'm a beer fanatic.
Before I moved here, I worked at a Liquor Store for six years in California. Before that, I had a fascination with brewing, Dad took us to the BJ's in Brea, CA. You could actually see them make the beer! It was the coolest thing to me! But yeah I built up my fascination more working at the Liquor Store, I learned about different hops in IPA's, learned some of the processes into stouts, etc. You can ask me and I'll try to reccomend you a good beer, haven't heard complaints yet. Still no expert, never got to actually brew, but I know a little bit.
7) I love Batman
I've never been like a die hard nerd that could tell you everything about a character but Batman has been apart of my life since I was a kid. Something about a man rising from a tragedy and facing impossible odds just has been inspiring to me. No, I will never dress up as a bat, run atop rooftops, beating up criminals....yeah that's lunacy. But I can appreciate the principles of the man.
8) I'm not into Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad; if not for Neegan, I wouldn't be into Walking Dead anymore.
9) I love nature.
Mountains are my escape and beaches are my zen. I try to go on a hike at least once, living in a smoldering desert has been preventing that though.
10) I've been a fan or member of SG for 12 years?
My friend introduced me to SG when I was 14, we both got our own accounts at 16, got in trouble cause we used our dad's info...whoops. Got my own account when I turned 18, had it for 2 years, met my ex, she hated it, so had to get rid of it. We broke up two years ago, so I came back! I've had an eye for pinup a long time, tattoos always fascinated, I'll stare for awhile to just look at the artwork done, some of you are fucking troopers! Love the groups and writing blogs cause well this has been my comfort zone. Different people but open minds and it's just dandy.
Well I think that was a random bit about myself....it's been an interesting ride but hell all the randoms are the bit that make up me so....righteous man!
