Music is a big part of my soul and this is definitely hard to narrow down! My musical taste jumps from Mozart to Guns N Roses to Johnny Cash to Tupac to Lana Del Rey to Sum 41; well you get the point, I'm on shuffle. But I'll try to narrow it down my soundtrack to maybe 10-12 songs for the sake of length So strap in my dudes, for a wild ride into my noggin through song! Heehee Welcome to the Jungle mothafuckas!
1) You Could Be Mine- Guns N Roses
Well GNR is fucking awesome! This is also cause my Dad introduced me to a lot of music and the 80's action hero starting with Terminator 2.
2)My Hero- Foo Fighters
Dave Grohl is my GOD! He's a musical genius from the days of Nirvana to the day I heard this song and it's stuck with me for over 20 years. Yeah I feel ancient saying I've listened to Foo Fighters for 20 years. They just get me in all moods!
3) Hold ya Head- Biggie w/ Bob Marley
This is a really beautiful song that hits my heart all the time sang by two legends and made Marley immortal to me.
4) Decode- Paramore
Well it just reminds me of someone and of a great night.
5) Young and Beautiful- Lana Del Rey
Women enchant me but I'm truly taken when I've seen one and this song plays in my head. It's a magical feeling of beauty and wonder. Only happened to me twice in this lifetime.
6)All Along the Watchtower- Jimi Hendrix
Just watch the video. The Mothafuckin king of the axe....all his songs release this energy of life out of me, wow I wouldve loved to see him live!
7) Heart of Gold- Johnny Cash
This man is the keeper of my soul. Since before everyone loved him cause "Walk the Line" came out. He still speaks my soul the most and his covers alone were legend.
8)Stare at the sun- Thrice
When my friend, Gaby, was in her coma. I listened to this song everyday, hoping she'd wake up, and she did.
9) Call me - Shinedown
This seems like my theme song and letter to loved ones as i venture out across the world.
10) Time- Hans Zimmer
Yeah I dig soundtrack music!This one just seems so peaceful and really enhances a triumphant moment for me.
11) Midnight City- M83
That sax part though....just the whole vibe is just marvelous to me and how i perceive the world.
12) Sweet Child O Mine- Guns N Roses
just reminds me of someone besides being my favorite GNR song, definitely my heartbreak song.
13) Rooster- Alice in Chains
This is my spirit song. Anytime since i first heard it when i was 6, it comes on, i stop and get reminded that ill be alright.
14) Landslide- Smashing Pumpkins
Well things are changing and well this best represents deep feelings of life and everything for me...
Well I'll wrap up there cause I can go on for days on this topic! Music is a big part of my soul and definitely a remedy for life. You ever feel alone, you can connect easily to a song, it'll get you throug and release your soul's anguishes. Music truly saves and helps us to be able to express ourselves to others just because it just has something about it. This is my soundtrack but I'm sure more will be added as I venture through these wonderous roads of life.
