I played 2 seasons as a goalie, both won the Championship. I also played quite a few fill-in games on various teams needing a goalie. Never did I get a shutout, until last night. How did it happen? Well 9 chicks were on the ice, that's how. They played awesome defense, awesome offense, hell a complete package. They were even hitting! My new team kicks ass. The only drawback, separate locker rooms. The few guys on the team get crammed into a tiny room. We played against the best goalie in the league and he stood on his head to keep it 0-0 until the final 2:35, it was a 1-0 final. If they had their regular goalie (yep neither full time goalie showed up, I'm really D on the chick team) we would have won by at least 10-0.
I watched some high school tennis today, and for the love of god I hope I didn't play like them when I was on the HS team. They were bad, really bad.
Ah well, at least it's nice enough for top down driving!

You just play with girls for the group "congratulations" after a goal...sadly most HS athletes don't look too good, there's some gems in the rough sometimes though
