Ice: 2-1 loss, I hit left and right posts. Also fed 6 passes from behind the net through the slot. My wingers mossed all 6. My passes "suprised" them, hehe. I played on the powerplay unit, shorthanded, with the goalie pulled, and even a few rounds of my normal D position. I was assiged to center the "checking" (aka stinky) line to balance out the line. Good game none the less.
Roller: 5-4 overtime playoff loss. Another good game I was -1 with 1 assist. The first shift (which was 30 minutes after the ice game) and I was still skating like I was on ice, 2 goals that weren't my fault but if I had my feet I might have been able to prevent. Note to others, if you attempt to check me in a non-checking league and telegraph the hit by dipping the shoulder early, expect a shoulder to the teeth. Note to self, expect teeth marks in your shoulder to form an amusing bruise.
The car that hated zChains. Instead of spending $1k for snow tires (compared to $2k for all season) I opted to get zChains which are steel cable and spring based chains. Since they aren't chains they are street legal. My car has 265's in the rear and factory race suspension, which leaves under 1/2 inch between the rim and the shock. The car forcefully removed the zChains after about 300' of driving. I did have lots of fun scaring people that started to ride my ass by going into a full out 45 degree angle drift yet remain going forward in a straight line. For the record I was not driving slow and candy-assed.
Time to hit the cafe.
