Hockey season has finally returned and I can do something other than sitting around playing games on the computer. I stopped playing nearly 2 months ago and may even start playing again, especially since the beater can fit all of my gear without too many issues. Tuesday is the first home game and we get to see some of the up and coming players trying to earn a roster spot during pre-season play. I may even bring someone along to one of the pre-season games. :-)
The condo is nearly sold, thank goodness, I can't wait to leave. The only drawback is the inability of bringing any females home! Well, that didn't happen all that often anyway, so I guess it's no big loss in the grand scheme of things. Soon I will start looking for a real house, with my own grass and backyard. Pool and permaneny backyard grill kitchen area are required I think.
Well the car situation just got cloudy again. I wanted a non-full on sports car. Something with the ability to carry a bunch of stuff, like an Audi S4 Avant (wagon), or even a Dodge Ram 1500 as a spare vehicle. That was until I saw a car being sold in the US that I thought would never make it to the US, the Exige. The new 2006 and 2007 models look badass. I'm not getting another Porsche until they get the interiors back to being nice curvy, and non-sterile. They also need to take the candyassed clutches back out of the cars, I want to feel the road through it. If I wanted a car to take me away from feeling the road I'd be in a Mercedes. Now I need to locate a Lotus dealer, and get a test drive of the stick version of the Exige.
People have asked me recently, "Why don't you have a girlfriend?". Well the answer is fairly simple, I really don't need one and can remain quite content without one. I went a few years, yep years without one before the most recent ex. It's been since February since that ended and I'm still quite content. The other part of the equation is that I'm lazy and passive. I don't chase after women at all really, if they are interested they can be direct about it and I can respond directly in kind. In the past I used to miss all of the 'signals' women sent, now I subconsciously ignore them. If you want something, ask for it! I'm not into games really, if you want to skirt around the issue with signals and hints and hoping I'll catch on, expect to be on a merry go round.
