What a strange day.
My car lost it's sense of humor. It used to completely ignore my request to avoid highways, the car would also take detours to the worst slums in NJ when getting from one place to another. I think it was curious on what it never experiences, like a rebellious child. I got a software update a month ago and didn't notice anything changed really, until today. That avoid highways button I even started to ignore was paid some attention by the car since this was the first time using the nav in a month. It completely avoided all highways and I was wondering where the hell the car was leading me. Obviously it got the deviant nature removed from it with the update, it took me to Oakland and Franklin Lakes, and the cheapest house we passed was about 2 million dollars. It got to see and say hi (highbeam double blink) to around 20 of it's brothers and sisters on the ride. Heading through there made me realize I've been slacking off way too much, I should already be in one of those houses, not just looking at ones 1/3 of that price.
Sometimes those wake up call moments are a good thing.
Amazon shipped me my free 48" level in a box that was 3'6" x 3'6" x 1'. The bag it came with was shipped seperately.
My mom put up wallpaper in my spare bathroom yesterday so I had to do less wall fixing in that room so I can sell it faster. The wallpaper is falling down in spots, guess I need to fix it anyway. All of the moulding it mitred already, and going to get stained tonight.
I had a hot stone massage tenatively scheduled for tonight but I think I'm passing on it for now, too much work to do here yet. Hopefully this holiday traffic dies soon, I hate driving slowly for no reason.
Looks like I'm going to be playing Warhammer 40k soon on some random weekends. Something old is again something new. Friends keep trying to hook me up with people, and not specific people either. I feel like they want me as bait or something. Oh well, enough of an update for now, although I do need to get chilly night snuggle partner or something.

franklin lakes - yeah the houses there are ridiculously expensive. i went to high school with franklin lakes people, a lot of them are real bastards too. well technically the school was in franklin lakes, on land alone that is probably worth at least 20 million now that is ridiculous.
