Before I head back to working the day away in the "digital music mines" so to speak! So, let's go!
Up first from Queens of the Stone Age, off their first and destructively good album that is self titled (1998) I give you "You Would Know" and when those things you do when no one is looking come on and override your inhibitions, this is what I'd say... You would know... Enjoy.
Next! From Ionalee aka iamamiwhoami, I give you off her 2010 album bounty, the track "b" and I hope you enjoy this! She's a favorite artist of mine! Her music is a symphony for the soul and for the ears. Touching, sorrowful, mindful and lamenting. All the things I appreciate in an artist!
Up next, one of Canada's most loved musicians in the newer grouping (at least from those I talk to), Leslie Feist. With a killer track from her 2008 show stopping album The Reminder and that track, "I Feel It All" It is, a beauty of a song with all the best ideas of love, loss and moving upward and onward in life. Some things just have to be. Remember "The truth lies. The truth lied. The lies divide." Her music completes me on a certain level. Enjoy! One more to come!
From another woman I admire wholly, PJ Harvey, I give you a track off her 2009 collab album with John Parish, A Woman A Man Walked By. That track is "Black Hearted Love" and I love this track and album so damned much. It's a keeper through and through. Enjoy! I wish I had more time. Love ya all. See you when I can!
