First up, one of my more "philosophical" and "existential" choices which aren't always a hit but it is for me. So from David Bowie, off the album Earthling (1997) the song that has the accompanying video with his friend Trent Reznor, "I'm Afraid of Americans" and it's a great video and track. True in all the worst ways possible if a citizen of the US wants to claim we're not a horrifying country on just guns and extrajudicial killings alone. Anyway, enjoy track one! Track two is below!
Song two holds a dear place in my heart too. It's a lot more subdued in ways really than the first track but is none the less frightening due to the "nature" of what is discussed in this track. We are all complicit in the "problems" here in the US and some are part of the side that should be praised and scary referred to as the "low are gloom-inati" in the track. So without any further clues, from the one and only Marilyn Manson I give you, "The Golden Age Of Grotesque" from the album of the same name that came out in 2003. I love everything about this song. Enjoy and much love to my SG fam! See you tomorrow or in two days again lol.
