Hello all! Yes, the title of my blog entry is totally stolen from White Zombie so let's get that little tidbit out of the way right now. I'm sure Rob would give me his blessing to use it creatively in this fashion, but I digress.

So, how is everyone? I trust that things are going well or at least getting to some semblance of alright at least for all of you. Today, I figured I would write a rambling blog about some things, maybe even get a bit philosophical if time allows. It will be another of my famous "all over the place" blogs most likely, so buckle up, maybe I'm not sure yet. We'll see by the end I guess =)

In general political news, the US is more fucked now than it has been in modern history as far as "Presidential Lunacy" as I'm calling it now. We have a feeble minded (and body), old ass, nitwit running the show as you all know. It's astounding because I firmly believed we would never have a "president" so mentally deficient that George W. Bush Jr. would seem like a fucking scholar of the highest caliber yet, here we are. This "president" doesn't like immigrants, doesn't like our allies, doesn't tell the truth and has already been cited as having committed two felonies at this point with a whole slew more of them coming. Nixon fucking resigned with a literal sliver of the bullshit that this current sitting "president" has hanging over him but hey, no worries right? Government shutdown grinding through its third week and just about 800,000 people aren't getting paid for their jobs any time soon. I'm so very sorry to those that may be or have relatives suffering under the temper tantrum of our sitting "president." I keep using quotes on President for an obvious reason but in case someone is wondering I'll spell it out, I use the quotation marks because I don't consider him an actual US President no matter what anyone says about him. So yes, we're definitely screwed and there seems to be no end in sight to this until he either gets thrown the fuck out or voted out in 2020. What a fucking joke and at the same time, a severe tragedy since the things he has done wrong for us as a country are going to take decades to repair and set right from our EPA laws, schooling, taxes, foreign relations and a whole slew of other horrible shit from immigration policies killing children and separating families to school shootings being all the fucking rage. Enough. No more political musings at this time because otherwise it'd be a never ending blog post.

In personal news, as most of you know I was super sick most of the weekend and yesterday. Clearly, today I am much more like my usual self and feeling "acceptable" if not fully back to normal. Many thanks to all my lovely friends who reached out while I was ill. You all are the best and thank you!!! I am now currently back to ruining my health via partying and other means so I'm all better I guess =) I know some of the folks I consider my friends aren't having the best of luck heath wise in one fashion or another lately and I hope things start coming around for you all so to speak on the health front! Anything I can do to help, you know I will and I'm always here for you all if you want the help!! I sincerely hold all of my on site friends in the highest regard and you are all the only reason I even interact with social media in any way whatsoever! I truly appreciate all of you and the many different viewpoints shown to me via all of you on topics we discuss as it makes me a better person whom now has many viewpoints on a topic instead of one or two!!

Music for me as of late, as far as composition is concerned has been, dicey to put it into a single word. I've been working on a lot of things and I'm half into a lot of it and I'm also hating about half of the work as well currently. Some things just sound like shit to me tastes wise and so I have to run all that through different ideas on how those things I find lacking can be better. So a lot of re-recording and reworking certain pieces to fit into my tastes zone better. There are a lot of people that think electronic music of any genre is somehow "easy" or "simple to do." Bullshit. Clearly you've never had to program synthesizers or drum machines, update and learn multiple DAW programs (if you want all the good stuff from each company's program), audio and midi interfaces with said computer as well as all the normal chores of creating music more "organically." It's a fuck of a lot to do every day and it's worth it honestly but it's infuriating to a degree as well. So many cords and patch cables everywhere it's like living in an electrical breeding ground of some kind and let's not even get into all the audio cables required to and from the audio input/mixing board! Madness! Besides that little rant, I do truly enjoy what I get to do every day. It's a privilege and I don't take that for granted. Someone wondered about my "free time" and how I have too much of it recently. To that I say, yes I have free time to do what I want because I paid my dues and got to where I am in music and other ventures and I am sorry it drives you crazy that you don't have that free time that I have. I want to be clear here too, I'm not making light of anyone that has to bust their ass working a "real" job all day, every day. I'm just saying if you're bitter of me doing what I do because you bust your ass, that's kind of your problem and not mine right? Eh, it doesn't matter anyway, that dummy will never see this blog! Onward and upward in the music department though! I will be getting ready to do another round of copyrighting new music sometime around my birthday in April or maybe the beginning of summer in June, we'll see but I'm looking forward to it! @naru_blu I'm still working on those tracks and don't think I forgot about them hon!! I just want them to be as good as humanly possible before I send them your way!!!

So, one of my friends on site, @xheartswornx has the greatest blogs about sets from SGs and hopefuls and his reviews are second to none! Brother I'm not even going to attempt to steal that thunder, nor would my reviews not even hold a candle to your amazing ones so I'm not going to try that! I bring this up because I'm more of a mention type of guy. If I like your work, I mention it in a blog. So, in no particular order, here are the ladies I recommend checking out ASAP new sets or not! So where am I now train of thought wise? Well, I promised potentially philosophy but that's too dry a topic for right now. Instead I'll just say a few things off the cuff. America, bring flavored blunt wraps back? It's not pandering to children. Some of us adults like grape flavored blunts damn it. Stop making it so hard to get them. I literally had to order preset cone wraps off of Amazon today. Seriously? Let the gas stations have them again damn it! Closer to home, Illinois would you please make recreational weed legal already?? We wanted it and medical was simply done, so fucking do it already. You're making us look bad! If you walk past a homeless person today and you have money, give them some yeah? A lot of people don't acknowledge the homeless and it pisses me off. Trust me, they don't like being homeless so help out a little won't you?? Well, that's that for random thought rants for now.
