Fucking shit... since my last entry, my life has been a living hell. So, I went home for the weekend of Halloween. AND...... while I was in Boston, my genious friend took my car to a party on the hill the night of the riots in Boulder. He left the party, and got to the police roadblock where the riot police were gearing up. A cop asked him to turn around, and he backed into a police cruiser, and then bolted off... ditched my car in an alley.
So, Sunday night I get a phonecall while i'm in Connecticut saying that I need to come down to the Boulder PD because I was being investigated for vehicular assault and assault of an officer. Of course, on Monday morning they went to the magazine office looking for me.
To make a long story short, there's $750 damage on my car (pretty much totaled) I was asked to resign from my job. But, the shittiest thing is that now I need high risk insurance for a cool $1000 a month.
I've spent the last ten days going back and forth between the police station, the attorneys office, and the claims agency. Sorry about not posting more.
I wish I could find some good luck somewhere. The last half a year has been terrible.
