Hi.
I've missed you. Despite my absence, you've been on my mind. I promise that I am well.
I've been writing a lot. Over coffee, my publisher and I were talking about how much has changed in this last year and how this only gets harder. I've learned so much, have been blessed with tremendous opportunities, and find myself agreeing to take on more despite a serious lack of time. But I love it. This is the life I want.
In about two weeks, my first book will turn a year old. Selling a book is a lot harder than I ever anticipated, but reaching people who genuinely love your work is worth more than any measly royalty check. So thank you for reading.

Drinking chai and listening to kitty snores. I love fall and the sound of rain outside. I've got my to-do list. Designing book covers, trying to finish about four thousand words today (no, I am not participating in nanowrimo), and working on memorizing my reading for Bizarro Con. On paper, this doesn't sound bad, but I know how easily I can succumb to distractions. I'm setting an egg timer now. Until next time.
Love.
