Today is writing day. Am I writing what I set out to write today? No, but I'll get there in due time. My first book has taken many interesting turns, and while I'm having a blast writing it, I'm a little nervous about how that first read will go. The deadline I set for myself is fast-approaching, but I am confident I'll get this done relatively stress-free.

I had a "girl-day" with emailmeat recently. I've known that dude for almost 20 years, and his friendship always continues to blow me away. Here's to another 20 years!

Our day included going to a salon/babershop, a lush shopping spree, lunch, ice cream, and a trip to Powell's. We made a lot of people in Portland happy with our star wars backpacks/messenger bags.
I later met up with another friend for a fancy dinner and show.
I saw The Hives for the first time. While I feel that most of their songs sounds very similar, they put on a very entertaining show.
