This is what I wake up to every morning.
Note: I am underneath these cats.
This guy likes to lay next to me and tries to be a big spoon. It's kind of cute.
We had a bit of snow last week:
While I love the snow and the rain, I am ready for some sunshine. It's starting to make its way around, and my, isn't it lovely. Today, I started tackling some minor yard work and started on working on converting my storage shed into an art room. I threw out everything that the previous owner left behind, swept out all of the webs and spiders, and started with the first coat of paint. I managed to paint the bulk of the room, but I'm thinking I might want to sand down and smooth out the shelves. While their rugged appearance looks cool, splinters aren't so cool.
You know what else isn't cool?
Getting into fights with screwdrivers. I was putting together some frames, and BAM! The screwdriver slips and nicks my finger. This lady came to my rescue though:
After I let out a little whimper, Sioux ran over and laid next to me. It was kind of cute. Next, I will train her on how to find and bring bandaids.
My home is coming together though. I've rearranged some furniture and hung up new things. I still have a few more ideas I want to execute, but I lack time and money to carry this out as quickly as I'd like to. Meh. I'll get there someday.
Random notes:
-Sitting in a fitting room while my friend changes makes me feel like my grandma.
-Aside from being kind of cute and doing what my phone can do, what the hell is the purpose of Karotz?
-I'm now on instagram. Feel free to follow me there (be warned, I just started this yesterday): rockpapersatan.
Happy celebrations for me soon!
Love.
Silencia
