"Today was a good day" - Ice Cube
Ha! Yes, it was.
I woke up to a call from Casper. asking if it was okay that she head over to my house. "Sure," I responded; rolled out of bed, made a pot of coffee, unlocked my door, and rolled back into bed. Once I stopped being lazy, we drove over to get breakfast with atomicant, schmelectra, and MisterSatan. It was fun.
MisterSatan later gave me a guitar lesson. He plays the guitar very well, and it's very refreshing to converse with people who are completely self taught. Once I stop sucking at playing, I hope that we can grace his porch with our guitars and play some blues while we drink lemonade.
Casper and I then romped through SE and took photos. I shot some images for a project that has been KILLING to get out. I've started editing some of the photos, and honestly, I don't think I've ever been so excited about a project. Seeing these pictures came out so close to what I had envisioned fills me with such happiness. If I have a decent sized batch of awesomeness by the time I'm done, I may try to have them exhibited somewhere. THAT would be dandy. Hurrah!
I took a little nap, and woke up to my cat being used as a pillow... again. Scared the shit out of me, I tell you. I go to adjust the pillow, and the goddamn thing is furry and warm. I open my eyes, and my cat just looks at me like, "oh, you're awake now?" Good thing I'm not allergic.
I got up, and made some more coffee. I think I'm addicted.
Now here will be a random spillage of photos that will not be part of that project:
(Casper = muse)
and in black in white
Silencia
P.S.
Jersey is selling her life away here.
