I like puzzles.
Today, I:
~did laundry
~went grocery shopping (and further attempted to break in a pair of boots)
~modified two shirts; fixed one skirt, and one dress (while watching Inland Empire... again)
~took some pictures
~spoke with my grandmother on the phone
~drank lots of coffee
~contracted her to be a body in a vision I hope to capture in a photo project soon
~felt so inspired, it hurt
I think I need to learn to no longer compromise my artistic integrity. And if it's not being compromised, then I need to at least stand up for what I think it beautiful, and not let people dismiss it so easily.
I have a couple of SG shoots lined up. It's nice to be able to shoot some more sets again. I've learned a lot more about photography during my hiatus, and hope to create some visions that will knock some people off their feet. Here's a timeline for what I've shot:
Casper - Laurelhurst
Casper - Gentle Coercion
Jersey - 10:30 Midnight (in member review)
Sedora - Death of a Wiseman (in member review)
Sorrow - Cat's Meow (in member review)
Luree - Ode to silence (coming to member review on April 7th... that hopefuls queue is mega long!)
Lyxzen - (still needs a name) (may or may not be uploaded because of its "theme"... sigh... such a shame because it looks pretty damn cool)
Toxic - Private dancer (will be uploaded sometime next month)
"But, wait! Sorrow's set went up before Sedora's." I know. The first time I edited that set, it was a lot darker... and sometimes I forget that not everyone likes dark photos. When it comes to SG photos, I want the models to be happy with the final product... even if it means making a set that was shot in a low light setting "bright and colorful." So... that set got pushed back into my editing queue when I had a super mega busy shooting week. We live. And we learn.
Prints are still available. PM me if you're interested in more info.
Here's Kubrick's rebel yell.
