Since when do gender specific colors have to apply... to cats?
My cat has a pink and white pet taxi. I'm totally not joking. We've had to go to the vet twice this week for emergency visits, so this pet taxi is getting its use. While waiting for the vet to see my sick kitty, panicking and filling out all the necessary paperwork, I finally get distracted by how many times my cat has been referred to as "she." Once I start noticing this, my panic turns more to awe when the receptionist is telling me, "the vet should be able to see her soon," "she may just be having an allergic reaction to the meds we gave you yesterday," "she'll be just fine- you'll see." At one point, I reminded her that Kubrick was male. She simply giggled, and said that she should've been paying attention to the BLUE face sheet she was holding in her hand rather than the pink taxi my cat was patiently waiting in. Douche.
Anyway, I got my kitten back with a blue bib-like cone he has to wear around his face just so that he won't scratch at his eyes. Makes me wonder if they have pink or red ones for the female cats. Now he's starting to slowly gain a lot of his kitty energy back (which is awesome), but because he has to wear his cone, I feel like I'm picking on a handicap kid when I play with him. It sounds terrible, but it's also painfully cute.
This is his bear stance.
ugh, I love him.
Silencia.
P.S. I think I lost my phone... at work. Hello Sucktown.

You should have made sure he received a pink bib/cone/protective device.
