Wednesday. Nearly halfway through the internship with Walgreen's. Next week, the hospital.
So far, everything's pretty cool at Walgreen's. Mind, I'm not allowed to do much, since I'm not certified yet. I've also tripped over early warning signs of other employees - one girl told me to ignore some things that later proved to be a huge hassle for everyone else, and another spent the better part of a 20 minute rush on a two minute bathroom break (unrealistic, I know, but she's the one that said two minutes). Also overheard a comment that they're getting more interns than they know what to do with - so not good.
Then again, I'm only the whipping boy. Haven't even applied to a job yet.
Saw Superman last night. Brandon Rouch does Reeve well, especially in the voice, but isn't big enough or old enough to really do the part - a shame, since with another 20 pounds and five years, he'd have been perfect. Kate Bosworth isn't brash enough to be Lois. Kevin Spacey brought more Hackman to the role than I'd expected. A very good flick nonetheless, but Spacey carries the flick more than he should've had to. His final scene, too, should've been after the credits.
Oh, and folks? Remember - this is what happens when you come between Kumar and White Castle.
