Success! We found a really fantastic place in Helena. The guy is looking for a July 1 signing date (which is perfect for us). The rent was nicely in our budget, with a few extras tossed in. It's a brick duplex, with a basement. It's a two bedroom, with washer and dryer hookups and storage space. We even get one bay in a garage. It is adorable - and I'm excited to finally have an apartment with real character.

On the whole, our visit was super great. There was one .... tense moment. When we first arrived, my wife wasn't sure she liked it. At all. Mostly, she was exhausted from the trip, and the weather was colder and grayer than expected. Plus, the first apartment we saw was *hideous.* There were a few other minor issues, and she just felt *overwhelmed* by it. But, by the next day, things were much better. The weather improved, and we found some really cute apartments to consider. Now, she's totally excited.

Anyway. Otherwise, things here trundle onward. Not quite sure what to do with myself right now. I have some copy editing to work on, and an article to pick at ... but um. Yeah. Kind of at a pause right now. I'm not sure how to deal with that.
