Keep in mind this is all aimed at the mainstream, and it isn’t in a very good order so if something is offensive to you please read it all the way through to be sure you understand everything I’m saying because my guess is that if you are offended it’s because you haven’t grasped everything I’m getting at:
1. Low emphasis on health / Gluttony
By health I don't mean the BS that's taught in gym class (or Physical Education once it was made 'politically correct') in High School.
I'm talking about stretching and Yoga, meditation, a balanced diet, massage and chiropractic care, acupuncture, and aerobic exercise.
Perhaps some of these things get taught to the youth in the educational system but the society at large doesn't emphasis them.
By and large this society teaches everyone to eat whatever, whenever, and as much as possible. This is not wise because some things you eat will kill you - sometimes slowly and painfully - and often if you eat too much of them. And if you don't die you WILL get fat as hell with this attitude.
2. Ignorance / Close-mindedness
Most Americans have this tendency to not want to learn about new things. This is really goddamned stupid because they are only harming themselves.
That and the fact that they end up judging people based on their parents beliefs and this goes all the way back to some cave-man's beliefs which are really goddamned stupid beliefs.
3. Complacency
"If it isn't broke, don't fix it" has always struck me as the American method. This society only progresses in the wakes of disaster or via technology that is marketed through television - which is where people get their newer beliefs from unconsciencely, if they get any at all.
4. Non-optimal usage of resources and technology
I look around and I see all these SUV's and trucks that aren't but holding a single person and no cargo but a chugging gas constantly. We need to preserve petroleum oil because there is only so much of it inside the earth and we need to make plastic and the price of the shit continues to rise accordingly and these bone-heads keep buying expensive huge SUV's just because it's a fad.
Morons.
5. Apathy
"What do you think about the Iraqis?"
"Fuck 'em"
"What do you think about the Chinese?"
"Fuck 'em"
"What do you think about the British?"
"Fuck 'em"
"What do you think about America?"
"This is the best goddamned nation in the world"
"Oh? What do you think about the Hispanics?"
"Fuck 'em"
6. Hypocrisy
I went for a job interview and the first thing the interviewer told everyone in the room was that we were all dressed inappropriately because we weren't wearing slacks and a button down shirt and that the next time we go for an interview anywhere that we should be.
What the fuck does how I dress have to do with my skills? I handed the guy my degree and told him that in Israel you only dress like that for a funeral. Which is true.
Turns out the guy didn't have a degree, but I learned what it takes to get a job in this sad ass country of mostly idiots.
7. Obsolete morality
This is the crux of most of these issues. I know a lot of what I'm explaining here doesn't apply to the big east and west coast cities but those areas are not the majority of the American populous and what I'm explaining pertains to those that are (and who are not always - shockingly - Republicans).
This country is operating under a moral code which was obsolete before the first shot in WW1 ever rang out. Their beliefs are entrenched in a time when it MADE SENSE that the women never left the home because the man brought the food in from hunting and the fields directly into her. Everyone was a Christian in that time but only the church owned a bible. Ignorance wasn't a choice at that time and thus the system was made in such a way as that everyone had a few basic beleifs in common and didn't much thing about anything else AND WERE ENCOURAGED NOT TO ACCORDINGLY because to do so might lead to a breakdown in the routine in the village and harm the village as a whole (If, say, a guy named Galileo diveated from his routine of killing chickens and putting them on sale in order to figure out how we orbited the sun with his lens).
But the morality that was constructed for the feudal system no longer applies and hasn't since the steam engine came into being so why the fuck do people still hold onto the beliefs that were popularly espoused by the ruling class to keep people in line at that time?
8. Sexism
There are so many ways of explaining this one. The propensity of blow-job jokes and the inability of the average American male to get off his partner in bed are the two most obvious to me. In Israel guys either get there chick off - and well - or loose there chick.
For some reason the women in this country cling to their men like they will never ever find another one - no matter how idiotic and teeth missing the looser might be. What the fuck?
And the guys treat the chick who does amazing things for them like shit...and get away with it!!! What the hell???
9. Elitism
Somehow there is still present this ideal of the young white male who is (simply by virtual of the fact that he is this) perfect and should thus be allowed into the 'good old boys club' if he conforms to it's rules. Ofcource any young white male will do so since the benefits of the club are far and away the best of any club out there.
And the costs? Only your soul.
A good deal, most would agree.
10. Politics
Explain to me EXACTLY HOW a system which allows every person a vote every 4 years which does not even count toward who should become president and which has nothing whatsoever to do with the laws in any way resembles DEMOCRACY.
Democracy is when every single person votes on every single bill in order to determine if it should become a law or not. Even if our vote counted toward the president and even if we were still allowed to vote on all other representatives what we would have would still NOT BE A DEMOCRACY because in a democracy one person = one vote. Not a representative.
What we live in here is a REPUBLIC. Why do we lie to ourselves about that and say that we need to spread Democracy throughout the world?
11. Lack of historical context / Lack of foresight
If a society doesn't understand where it came from then it won't pay much attention to where it's going and if a society or individual doesn't pay any attention to where it is going then it cannot anticipate when dangers arise. Incidentally, it dies pretty quickly.
This society has no clue where it came from. Oh, it understands American history pretty well - which covers about 3/80 of all of societal evolution. Not a very helpful context. It's as if I could only recall the last 9 months of my life - I'd have no clue who I was in this case and would make tons of mistakes as a result of that fact.
12. Political correctness
Censorship of language is censorship of thought in the highest degree. Just because laws aren't past to make people act a certain way doesn't mean that a sufficiently evolved government can't find other ways to control people - less obvious and more effective ways, including:
1. Buying off Hollywood producers to spread a certain ethos.
2. Buying off music industry executives to spread a certain message.
3. Spreading memetic idea through other channels such as email and word of mouth using under-cover Government agents posing as average Americans.
And, let me tell you, our government has no shortage of resources with which to do this. Where to you think all the old NASA funding went?
--
The only reason the overall system in America is still working is because after World War 2 we managed to (by waiting until Hitler had destroyed Europe to go in and clean up the mess and then through various treaties) tie the world up into a set of knots legally through with the World Trade Organization and the World Bank in such a way as to allow maximum American (small minority) exploitation of the World (large majority) in such as way as to confuse everyone into not seeing the blatantly colonialistic relationship present there.
Thus all the weaknesses in the system that I just pointed out are offset by America's governments well built and somewhat awe-inspiring ability to Rape which is currently observable by the fact that in Iraq the ministry of oil is the single most heavily fortified or all the ministries currently under American 'supervision'.

Aarnold's meme filed speech was a laugh-fest, was it not? If Bush DIDN'T want his regime compared to Nazi Germany then he picked the wrong guy to speak.
And what steroid filed Austrian actor wouldn't honestly think that American is a great place after coming over here and making millions of dollars and becoming the Governor just based on sheer looks alone? God knows there are better actors around with more understandable accents.
Aarnold: "America is Back"
Me: "Oh yeah? Where the fuck had it gone??? Kinda fucking hard for a whole goddamned continent to move, wouldn't you agree tiny-nuts???"
The political process in this country is a bad joke, why do we stand for it???
