For the record I'm now administering 3 SG groups and running 3 versions of Linux on a single machine with no Windows install whatsoever.

Well, until now I've avoided talking about Israel, politics, and the war and I've done so for good reason: I've been too pissed off at the entire situation to want to mention it.
But my sister arrived home to Israel with hundreds of new immagrants yesterday and I'm so upset by this fact that it's time I started writing about the truth of what's happenin over here from my perspective.
Sara came back yesterday with this feeling like Israel is a much safer to be than the US - she told me all kinds of fucked up stories about what is happening over there. I just had to laugh.
You see probably the biggest reason I came here was that I felt everything over there was going to hell in a handbasket. Now that may or may not have been the case but the fact is that over here THINGS ARE ALREADY THAT BAD.
I was pretty much raised by my mother to beleive that one day very soon Armigeddon would come and Israel would be the only safe place to be...an idea which probably came from her father to an extent.
Armigeddon - What a sack of shit.
If the world is going to end blame what we are doing to the environment...Armigeddon is just another way people give up responsiblity for their actions.
Anyways, starting tomorrow my entries are going to be all about the topic that until now I have completely avoided - my perspective on the Intifata and how it has completely changed my views on Judaism, Islam, and America.

That's a good thing- I want to hear a new perspective. So many people have so many opinions on the State of the World... it will be interesting to hear news from the other side of the ocean, from right in the thick of things.
Also, just noticed you are on your own friends list. How did you swing that?
