ok, i've been ordered to update by the lovely poppy so here it is - bam - and you say goddam, this is a dope jam... public enemy, it takes a nation of millions to hold us back is one of THE best albums EVER!!
so, i recently visited my little bro in mongolia. it's actually the second time i've visited, but this time stayed for two weeks and took recording gear - and have over 5 hours of material to work with! i'll keep you all posted...
so, we visited the gobi the first day i was there, where we witnessed a buddhist blessing ceremony in a reinstated monastery, which was awesome! then went north and hiked up mountains, saw holy springs and ovoos (sacred piles of stones). then went back to ulaan baatar and hiked round the mountains surrounding the city. awful flights both there and back but was worth it!
i'll post some pics when i can be arsed...
now home for xmas after working in a shitty little town called dunstable, where i may have the offer of a full time job that i don't know if i want...
it's not the most creative work in the world (architectural models to be tested in wind tunnels) but i have had a crap year work wise (4 months out of work!) so a steady job could be good, espe3cially with things as they are in bristol (no work, sharing house with ex, etc.)
i have a lot of thinking to do...
