ok, been flat out with work (different job - architectural models for a couple of weeks - not as much fun as ads and exhibitions, but i can work more hours = more monaaay
as i just told my good friend, i am also working on some field recordings taken in iceland last year. water droplets from icebergs, streams running under ice, crunchy footsteps, snow tyres on road, reyjavik streetlife, hot springs, waterfalls - all captured by my trusty minidisc recorder. the idea was to gain these sounds to inspire composition of a soundtrack for the forthcoming show www.adarklight.co.uk but the sounds are so good (when cleaned up) i'm just layering them and slightly manipulating some to create the atmosphere of this beautiful and savage country (landscape, not people).
i'm off to update the site, as i'm pretty sure i haven't touched it since before we left...
will be updated by monday if yr interested
