note to self:

in the future, do not ever try to grab a falling half of grapefruit when your friend's got a cleaver and tries to grab it too. you will totally rip open the webbing between your index and middle fingers but not really realize how bad it is until your friends force your bleeding ass to the emergency room and the doctor says she can see inside your hand and you need 6 stitches to connect your fingers back together.

it'll hurt a few hours later...
