I am not a guy that likes to start shit. But sometimes you have to step up and take care of business where others aren't willing to step in.
The history of it....
I was dating a gal for a short stent of time. Things where going really good and I started introducing her to my friends. Well one of said friends decides that she would be better off with him and started sweet talking her and spreading shit about me behind my back. She then tells me that she would just like to be friends and that she isn't ready to date anyone because her heart was with someone else. I was thinking she was still hung up on her ex boyfriend but that someone else turns out to be my buddy. Later in the month he calls me to ask me if it would be cool if he hung out with her.
This is a guy I tried to set up with 3 other lady friends of mine. He was an ass to all of them... played like he was into them tried to get them to fuck him, did so successfully to a couple of them. Then blew them off and cussed them out calling them crazy bitches, tramps and whores. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but then this happens. I didn't know the two of them were talking behind my back... and it wasn't until I got confirmation from her that they were actually dating and had been for 2 weeks, prior to her telling me she just wanted to be friends.
So I cut the two of them out of my life trying to be the bigger man and let them live out their lives with out interference from me. Now Saturday night I was at a show, and the two of them were there. I tried to ignore them and their group but they didn't like the fact that I was there. Standing 15 feet from me at all times and just giving me dirty glares all night.
I then find out from another lady friend Sunday that he tried not once but twice to kiss her. The first time she slugged him and told him to back off, he laughed and tried again. She slapped him called him names and left the venue. Now I am really pissed because the gal he snaked from me is a really good gal even though naive enough to think that "I didn't choose anyone over anyone else, I just choose the better man".
Well I am ready to fucking bash in the better mans teeth. Because he seems to think it's okay to treat women like shit just to get what he wants. This does not fly in my book and I am going to stick up for all those he's crossed. I have even told the bar that we are regulars at that they should expect that if I see him I am going to pummel the guy. I have told the bouncers, the bartenders, and the managers what's going on and they all agree that I should just take him out to the alley and have a field day on his face.
I am glad that people see that I am in the right, and that many agree that I should teach him a lesson. But I am starting to wonder if it's really worth my time. If I should just confront him and tell him he's not wanted in there and that he should leave and never come back. I am pretty sure that he's not going to be okay with that so I am full on ready for a fight.
What would you do in my shoes?

You already did what I'd do. Just drop it and never speak to either of them again. Honestly, they are utterly perplexed by the fact that you don't want to draw it out. So in a way you're getting revenge by not really doing anything at all. IT'S PERFECT!
