So I get into the tattoo parlor Friday night and everyone in there was asking if I was sure I wanted to get the inside of my arm tattooed. Like it's supposed to be one of the most painful areas. At any rate the actual process of getting the tattoo was simple I even fell asleep for about 30 minutes. Today however... gawd dang! My arm is super sensitive and slightly inflamed. I will post pictures of it as soon as I can figure out how to position a camera and get the inside of my arm shown with out having flex it... cause, ouch!
The art is kinda hot rod inspired stuff, like I said I really didn't know what I wanted this time around I just felt like getting tattooed. So I told my artist (Jason Garcia) at Sailors Grave Tattoo to just do something that was in the genre of what I liked.... hot rod, classic monsters, or sacrilegious low brow art... what he drew up was a piston, spark plug, checkered flag thing with fire and electric bolts. Not super complicated, pretty meh as far as the idea goes but hey it fit in one of the genre that I stated so... I can't complain. It looks awesome the color combination he choose really works and it's a clean looking piece. As I said I will have photos soon.
