I’m so sorry I haven’t been the best at updating. My health went south and I had to move again because of my last landlord being crazy. I live in a gorgeous building now with an extra bedroom and my cat is loving the plethora of windows she can watch out of and all the room she has there. I finally have a bed. My old neighbor from the last house and I are still friends and he’s been helping me immensely.
I’m now undergoing a new treatment for my EDS pain. It takes up a lot of time. I have to sit in a hospital clinic twice a week getting medications and being watched by a team of nurses. It will slow down once it’s in my system for a bit, I won’t have to go in as often. I just started this, but I’m not a fan of having 1 shot in each arm muscle 2 times a session, and being watched sleeping or whatever so I don’t have a seizure or anything. But my old neighbor misses me so much, he drives me to my treatment and such. Which is very nice of him.
Apparently, for some reason, ever since I moved, a lot of people ask me about how I like college so far and if I’m in a sorority? I’m like, “I’m 20 years too old for college, and I graduated in 2007!” I don’t know if people are just being generous or if it’s because I live near a few College campuses that just started classes. I hardly go anywhere, but when I do, I wait for my rides outside the building. It’s actually pretty out there. Lots of wildlife and statuary and art around. An even easier walk to downtown than the last home.
I think the most important thing is, that my cat is sooooooo much happier here. She just has so much space to run around, and despite not being unpacked yet, she’s got so much room and loves hitting buggies on the other side of the window, especially in the kitchen.
Besides extra tiredness between my treatment sessions, which I’m told I’d get used to, things have been nice. I’ve been getting visits from @tadzi, which have been fun. I love getting to see old friends!
