I live in London and I still hate the fact that some bands - particularly non-British bands - think that playing one club gig in South-East England will satisfy their fans around the entire United Kingdom.
Between the ages of 19 and 23 I lived in Cheltenham in Gloucestershire - and we'd be very lucky if a band we liked played in the area. We were still lucky if a band played in Birmingham or Bristol (the 2 nearest big cities).
If I had my own place, which sadly I don't, you'd be quite welcome to crash at it if you came to London for a gig. I wouldn't want something bad to happen to your ass on your way home.
