Just a heads up; one of my friends who shares the office with me at work has finally got his book published It's a beginners guide to Astrobiology, going through what life is, how it might have come about and what exactly the boffins at NASA and other space agencies are doing in order to determine if there is life out there in space. I've started reading it and so far I like it, it's not packed full of jargon like some science books tend to be. He's also a pretty mean writer (having won 3 national science writing prizes here in the UK!)
