"tell me, does your childhood feel like a dream?

mine does, except I never emerged from that dream, never left the dream feeling

everyone wants to 'grow up' so fast, but I despise and fear what they all called 'growing up'

and I like where I am

yes, I feel lost and untethered, drifting, cut off from society

but I'm *alive*

fantasy and reality blur and focus randomly, and it's all just a story, really

why don't we play anymore? why can't we?
