It's finally Friday!

Apparently my contract - you know, for the job I hate - may be extended until the end of November. I could refuse, but then I'd need to find another job. And I'd hate that one too, as I won't be happy until I go back to school.

So it looks like I'll be working until the end of November.

It's also payday today, which is nice. The damned government took a large chunk of my money. The fuckers.

Tonight and tomorrow is my little town's annual carnival thing. Tonight there will be much drinking out there. And a parade tomorrow, followed by more drinking. It's always a good time. I'm quite looking forward to it.

I got a brief note from MathGirl today, and she didn't seem too freaked out about my brief descent into madness. Actually, she didn't say anything about it at all. But she was short on time, as her dad was arriving shortly for his visit this week, and she had to go pick him up at the airport.

But due to this lack of response, I'm as confused as ever. Is she pissed, and will just pretend it didn't happen? Or is she just waiting until she has more time to discuss it with me?

Argh! Why do women have to be so puzzling?!
