Yay! The Distinction in Mathematics is the departmental honors I received for over a year of work on my honors project, "On the Determination of a Curve by its Curvatures."

For those not familiar with the Latin honors, Magna Cum Laude means my GPA was greater than or equal to 3.75, but less than 3.9. It was actually 3.81.

I'm also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

I actually had a reason for all that bragging. Despite all that which shows I'm something of an above average, dedicated student, the last couple of days I've been terribly afraid that I'll never get into grad school because I'm not good enough.

I'll just have to keep trying until I get accepted.
