Bad news, everyone. MathGirl broke up with the Rival (aka. her boyfriend).
"I'm sorry," I said.
She laughed and responded, "You're not at all sorry."
"I didn't mean I'm sorry you broke up with him. I meant I'm sorry that you had to get hurt."
Oh...did I say bad news? She seemed to be taking it well, though. However, it may mean that I won't go out there next weekend, as I suspect it may be too soon, and she might not be ready to see me. She was concerned about me driving 1000 miles, and I'm sure she was, but also scared of me coming right now.
But soon. Hopefully before she starts dating someone else, and I have to wait again.
I feel good. But also guilty for feeling good. I really do think it's for the best, though.

I hope it works out for you anyway
And I'm loving antepenultimate but I'll see your obverse and raise you a loquacious
I never knew that a Knickerbocker was also a name for a native or inhabitant of New York!!
