The University of Illinois-Urbana lost one of my letters of recommendation, the bastards! I know it was mailed, and should have arrived weeks ago.
The two that showed up were submitted electronically, unlike the missing one. So when they told me one was missing today, I thought I would just have the remaining professor submit an electronic form. No luck; I originally said he would submit a paper one, and it won't let me change it now.
I've sent an email explaining the situation; hopefully they'll get back to me with how they want it fixed. The deadline is already past. Argh!
I probably wouldn't have gone there anyway, but it would be nice to not have my time and application fee wasted with an incomplete file.
