and away we go.
it's monday folks. that day when everyone gets to go back to work after the holidays and all those kids finally get out of the house and back to school. for me...i was worried. starting this new year out without a job is kind of depressing...especially since i left the last year without one. LUCK HAD IT IN FOR ME! somehow...by some miracle or another...i picked up a 3-day babysitting/nanny gig. it's quite a trek north of me by about 20 minutes car time, and it just so lucks out that my awesome couchsurfer ava_jade is letting me use her truck for getting there, and i i'm just giving back gas and dropping her to school in the mornings. sweet. the job it pretty easy. basically 9am-5pm with this little boy cyrus who is 20 months. he's a doll. but the thing is...is that he just got done spending 3 weeks on vacation away from his nanny with his parents and so had a little separation anxiety today. but the mom said he opened up to me quite unlike he does to other unknown sitters. yay for me!
in other news...i got my school stuff figured out. although it did take me about 3 hours on the phone/fax/internet to do so. it looks like out of the 11 courses i took at PPU, only 7 of them will transfer into AAU. and two of the art courses are transferring as plain ol electives. oh well. whatever. i got it figured out. and that's what matters. but what matters moAr?! i start school so soon, man! on the first of february! i'm really excited. looks like i'll be taking photo fundamentals, digital photography, history of photography[repeat course...dumbest thing evAr!], and history of film II. woot! exciting stuff.
anywho...right now i'm eating some poptarts and having some cold milk and enjoying the company of drea. it's cool. but im nao tired. and i have to get up early. me thinks its time for bed.
