Well it has been years since I have played in a band, that is part of the reason I stopped playing, I had no one to play with and I had been playing the same songs for like 6 years, the last band I was in was a noise punk band with my best friend, but when he got married we kind of stopped playing together, the summer before last he shot himself and I was out of the state and did not know for a month so I did not get to go to the funeral, I have a drum set that has been at his house for like 7 years, and now that he is gone I do not have the guts to call up his wife and be like so can I come and get my drum set back.
Any way the person who gave me lessons was a metal guitar player, one of the best I have ever seen, so I learned all that old metal and hard rock stuff and lots of just old rock I guess, but I think Im more of a punk guitarist, I would love to get back into it some day.
