aaaaaaaand... we're back. fun stuff. made it out of town in just under 5 hours (compared to other people's 15+ hour trips, we made good time) and we had a decent time. highlight of the trip? um... i dunno... hehe, but i will post some pictures i took here in the next UPDATE cuz i'm hungry right now...

so friday we're evacuating houston to get away from Rita... i don't feel like running away, but i doubt they'll let me stay here by myself. i doubt anythings gonna happen, but you know, can't play around with these things anymore... oh well.

so... i was thinking about getting a motorcycle with the insurance money from my car. tehpeanut says she'll never ride with me anywhere anymore if i get one, but i think right now its the best way to go. generally bikes are cheaper than cars, and easier to maintain. and with the amount of cars here right now, it would be less of a space-taker....
