Semesters almost done!
spent Friday just chillin. Been playing Kartia now since I got the PSX that works down here. Playing the guys story and Girls story side-by-side since the guys starts on Episode 1 and continues the story on the Odd numbered episodes and the girls starts on Episode 2 and continues the story on the Even numbered episodes. neat game. its not your average RPG where you can do stuff and progress the story at your own pace. It gives you story-line - Fight - Story-line. and continues in that fashion. the save file records your progress in 3 books per episode - Before the Battle, During the Battle, and After the battle. despite the fact that it sounds odd and maybe bad, I like it. It actually works pretty well. I kinda feel like Im reading a book, but I get to control how the exciting fight scenes happen :-)
Ive been invited to 3 different science conventions. 1 in MA @ Harvard, 1 in CT @ Eastern and 1 in Rhode Island.... I havent been told where it is yet. the first 2 are for a biology-brain experiment that a friend and I are building a program for. We go with the professor and students and get to be part of the cons because we built their program. The third (in R.I.) is a Computer Science Convention where my Prof and I will be presenting the program on its own and the situation surrounding it. I feel kinda odd about that one, but hey, what the hell...
So saturday was mostly boring until about 9 PM
I went over Maggies round 9 to get ready for Albion - AKA have a few drinks before we go. So we caught the 9:40 Shuttle to the 10PM ferry and were @ the club by 11PM It was pretty good. not quite as good as when Ken and I went on the night Before Halloween, but the music was decent enough. had more to drink while there. I dont think Ive been that drunk at a club before. Admittedly I cant dance... thats where the whole Goth Club scene comes in, cuz no-one can dance at a goth club. but I found it a lot harder to dance last night than any other time. either way, I had fun just watching the random wacky shit on the TVs and some of the people there. We eventually went home around 3 AM and then I came back here, took some Ibuprofen and promptly passed out.
Today blew. I slept until 3 PM, had ramen, wrote the abstract for the R.I. convention, Played some America's Army, went to dinner, finished the abstract, played some more AA, yeah really boring today.
anywho. I'm out
