Mmmm update The trip was fantabulous, other than Allison and Kathleen at each other's necks most of the way, which, over the years, I have learned to tune out. We saw whales, bears, goats, magpies and more than anything a whole lot of cows.
We got to Calgary in approx. 12.5 hours, including ferry time. Which is really good for over 1,100 kilometers of driving in one go. I'm so sick of McDonalds food!!
We stayed in Calgary Friday night, got up bright and early and drove to Lethbridge, hung out with Paddy and Ryan and their friends. I can say I'm kind of confused at their friends. Some are cool, some are nobs. It's ok though. I went on this trip to see Paddy, that was the main reason. I saw. I'm very happy that I got the experience to go, and so cheaply too. He is doing well, Ryan is doing well. I cried myself to sleep in his arms.
I've lost such a close friend. But we realize now that we are closer than it looks. We both have steady jobs and can easily come see each other.
Sunday morning we headed back seaward. Another day of spectacular scenery whizzing by and Allison not letting us out. I took many pictures, soon to get developed. It snowed from Lethridge to Calgary and the on straight through most of Banff. It was amazing though.
Yesterday I was tired as hell. Got quite a bit of sleep last night, talked to Serena for a bit, watched a movie.
Work called and said to come in 6-11 as usual, but Angelina just called and she wants to leave at 4. So I'm in then. I need the money! So it's cool. Longest shift ever. I'm DEFINATELY taking a 10 minute break....no 7 hours without a smoke!! Kelly won't be there tho, so I'm happy.
Anywho, gunna go do laundry, smoke myself silly, eat and get ready for work....
