My famially went though the same thing only it took about 10 years when my grandparents died. My autn becaume very greedy and forogt that my dad gave her his part of the inherihinterite to get back on her feet and then she sold the house whiout his permission. I hope everyihtng works out for you.

I know what it's like.. My grandma died last month.. She was always mean to me and never supportive. I have a half sister I have never met, because she didn't want me to meet her.. never told me why.. I would visit her in FL each year, and endure her sessions of negativity... she passed away..and left $$ to my dad, and my half sister (whom she never saw)..nothing for me. :-( The coolest and priceless thing that was left for me.. in her death.. I am now able to meet the half sister she would never let me meet.. My sister didn't even know that I existed...

Since there wasn't much to do, since both of us were poor, there aren't too many "public" details to be given. There was alot of discussions, alot of talks, alot of caring and sharing.
I met all of her family. I got to see the area, and saw a bunch of the Lincoln Memorial stuff in the area. It was nice. very pleasant. I just wish it wasn't so cool this week there.
Next time I go up there, I think we are going to visit St. Louis and hang out there for a day or two.
